There is always a host of things to do, see and get involved in when visiting Mudgee.

The region’s event calendar is one of the major drawcards. Events include the Gulgong Folk Festival (December/January), Mudgee and Gulgong Shows (March), Clayfest (held biannually in April/ May), Gulgong’s Henry Lawson Festival (June long weekend), Mudgee Small Farm Field Days (July), Wine Celebration (September), Huntington Music Festival (November/ December) and the Mudgee Cup (December).

Annual events are supplemented by numerous regular events such as the Mudgee markets held on the first and second Saturdays of each month and the Regional Fresh Food markets on the third Saturday each month.
