Thistle Hill is a family-owned vineyard and winery in the Erudgere Valley , which is just ten minutes' drive from the town centre of Mudgee. Established in 1976, Thistle Hill is one of the oldestvineyards and wineries in the region and has been certified organic bythe National Association for Sustainable Agriculture Australia (NASAA)since 1993.

Our long-term organic status means the vineyard is free of all synthetic materials - including toxic pesticides, herbicides, fertilisers and systemic fungicides. These sustainable principles inthe vineyard lead to more concentrated and well-balanced fruit each vintage, which in turn makes elegant, fruit-driven wines that speak for themselves – just as nature intended.

Mudgee Wine Celebration

Art Outdoors Exhibition
To coincide with the annual Wine Celebration, Thistle Hill will be hosting an exciting exhibition of local sculptures and artworks called Art Outdoors. The eclectic collection features modern ‘organo funk' works, including metal and wooden sculptures, water features and garden accessories by local artists Maurie Berry and Michael Ferris.
