From the first vine planting in 1998, the de Beaurepaire family’s 53ha single-vineyard estate has grown into a renowned multigenerational boutique producer of French-style wines. They are located on the hills above the picturesque town of Rylstone, an area they were drawn to for its similarity to the Burgundian terroir of their heritage.
Their exceptional terroir, the closest comparable to Burgundy, Champagne and the Northern Rhône Valley in Australia, and the ultra-cool climate, enables cultivation of outstanding grapes. Entrusting their precious grapes into the care of exceptional winemakers, they handcraft premium French-style wines.
Their cellar door is located on their vineyard in the historic 1850s ‘Grafter Room’. It is a beautiful converted sandstone stable with sweeping views of our vines and the sheer escarpments of the Blue Mountains – a special place to sit back, enjoy the wine and soak up vineyard life. The cellar door is open 11am – 4pm on weekends and most public holidays, or by appointment at other times.
